Mill River Park
12-acre urban park located downtown Stamford

 
The Walk is in person and will consist of a one mile walk around Mill River Park followed by a celebratory event. Attendees and teams will start on the grassy knoll adjacent to the carousel building continue around the outer park loop ending on the main lawn. Directly following The Walk, will be a celebratory event.

2023 Registration Fees:millriver1

  • Adult Walk (ages 16+) - $50
    (must raise $100+ and be a registered participant to receive a t-shirt)
  • Young Adult Walk (ages 6-15) - $20.00
    (must raise $100+ and be a registered participant to receive a t-shirt)
  • Childredn 5 and under free - (does not include t-shirt)
  • Participant Fundraiser - No Fee
    Not attending the event but will participate in fundraising.
    (Raise $100+ to receive a t-shirt)

Day of Activities

We will have a DJ and many fun-filled activities.

Get ready to take a picture in the photo booth, try cookie decorating with Nora’s Ovenworks, enjoy cold brew from Caffe Nero, pick up a pastry from Cobbs Bread, and laugh with the Ha Ha Clowns. There will also be activities with the King School, a survivor photo, and a Tribute Wall sponsored by Freepoint Commodities.

The Bennett Cancer Center will have a tent and we’d love for you to come by and say hello!

The Hospital for Special Surgery will have a massage and theragun table, trivia wheel, and ring toss.

For our registered participants, we will have food trucks available from Tasty Yolk, Super Duper Food Truck and Candy Connection.

Fundraising Incentive - T-shirt

Any registered participant who raises $100 or more by Friday May 19th, will earn a walk t-shirt (You must be a registered participant to be eligible for the t-shirt incentive). The t-shirt incentive will no longer be valid after May 19th. T-shirts can be customized through Print Promowear. An email will be sent to those registered participants that raised $100 by May 19th.
