Stamford Health
The Susan D. Flynn Nursing Oncology Fellowship supported by Stephen Corman at Stamford Health provides a comprehensive program to enable a student entering senior year of a local baccalaureate nursing program to acquire the knowledge, skills and professional behaviors to deliver safe, quality care that meets defined (organizational or professional society) standards of practice in a comprehensive cancer center setting under the preceptorship of an experienced registered nurse. The Fellowship will encompass organizational orientation, practice-based experience, and supplemental activities to promote continuing professional development in Oncology Nursing.
This Fellowship is being offered to qualified rising seniors from Sacred Heart University’s School of Nursing and Fairfield University’s School of Nursing. To be eligible for this Fellowship, a candidate must have successfully completed the fall junior year semester of a BSN program, have a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA and be in “good standing” status at their school.
