The Lauren Fund was created in memory of Lauren Leslie who was diagnosed in 1992 at 15 years old, with Ewing’s Sarcoma, a rare form of cancer typically diagnosed in adolescents and young adults.
After a heroic two-year battle, Lauren passed away on July 3, 1994. To help sustain the Expression through Art Program, her parents, Charles and Nancy Leslie, created The Lauren Fund in her honor. The Expression through Art program, as well as the other programs that have been implemented over the years, are all available to patients of the Bennett Cancer Center free of charge because of the generous support received from people like you.
Many corporations and businesses sponsor matching gift programs that will match charitable contributions made by their employees, employee's spouse or partner, or retirees.
If your company is eligible, request a matching gift form from your employer, and send it completed and signed with your gift. We will do the rest. The impact of your gift to Stamford Hospital may be doubled or possibly tripled!
Press Submit Gift only once. You will see this charge appear on your credit card statement as Stamford Hospital or BLK Nonprofit (out of CA).
