Seven Years ago I was treated for Non Hodgkin's Lymphoma at the Stamford Hospital's Bennett Cancer Center. 

My favorite time of year is during the Hope in Motion Walk & Run when I can raise money and give back to this Fantastic Organization. 

The Bennett Center's Integrative Medicine program combines traditional scientific medicine,  nutrition, exercise, psychology, and belief to enhance the natural healing capacities of the body and mind. The services I received through this facility were as life saving as the drugs themselves.

Services received at the Bennet Center, like rides to and from treatment, lunches during chemotherapy and grants to help patients meet financial challenges in combination with conventional cancer treatment are at NO COST TO THE PATIENT thanks to the money raised thru the Walk & Run!! 

The goal of their program is to help reduce stress, promote a positive attitude, decrease pain, and improve your overall quality of life for the patient and their family. Trust me...it works!!!
