10 years! I can’t believe it’s been 10 years since I began my fight against breast cancer… for the second time. It’s been 10 years full of a lot of stress, anxiety and hours in the infusion center at the Bennett Cancer Center getting my treatment. But thanks to the care I’ve been lucky enough to receive at the Bennett, I’ve also had 10 years of family celebrations, amazing trips around the world, walks with my dog, Broadway shows, and quality time with family and friends.  

To show my gratitude to the Bennett, I am once again participating in Stamford Hospital’s 28th annual Hope in Motion Walk on June 11. The funds raised from this walk are so important to cancer patients and survivors just like me undergoing treatment. Financial aide, transportation, and wellness programs are just some of the benefits patients and survivors receive due to the Hope in Motion Walk.
